Angel Worldwide is going GreenAs one of the first chauffeured providers in the industry to institute a comprehensive and sustainable service for business travelers and their families, Angel Worldwide is, quite simply, the choice for those who want to minimize their impact on the environment.
Angel Worldwide has taken an unprecedented preemptive action to reduce its impact on the environment by launching a comprehensive program to take on climate change issues. The plan is based on the belief that the uncertainty and risks presented by global warming are so great, it is better to take action immediately rather than to wait for scientific research and technological improvements to “fix” climate change.
Angel Worldwide is committed to the development and maintenance of an environmentally-friendly business model. Through our comprehensive initiatives, we are setting the emission reduction standards for the executive ground transportation industry in conjunction with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Angel Worldwide is proud to be part of organizations of transportation industry veterans and environmental experts working together to promote education and action within the executive ground transportation industry to address the problems created by climate change.
Angel Worldwide has implemented comprehensive programs designed to help us exceed industry standards by providing detailed auditing, goal setting, and carbon offsetting. Read More

Green Strategy Some of our Green initiatives include:
A recent study by McKinsey & Company, supported by leading scientists and corporations, says it is possible to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions enough to contain global warming to 2 degrees Celsius, but only if all major sectors and regions take ambitious action within the next few years.
We are committed to adding hybrid vehicles to our fleet as well as leading-edge clean-fuel technologies
We are implementing extensive chauffeur training on enhanced fuel-efficiency
Strict anti-idling policies leverage our driver-training on reducing and eliminating carbon emissions
Our plan calls for the addition of effective on-board fuel efficiency technologies and new-generation hybrid vehicles.
We have committed to installing emission-reducing retrofits throughout our facility, including energy efficiency lighting, and have instituted company-wide Standard Operating Procedures, including electronic communication amongst staff, mandatory double-sided printing, and Zero Waste and recycling programs
Our transition to a paperless office has already reduced paper-use by 75% through electronic communication with our clients and staff, electronic invoicing, and streamlining our internal documentation processes
Service Procedures
All vehicles serviced at intervals as recommended by the manufacturer. All waste oil products to be reserved for re-cycling, tires and batteries to be returned to suppliers for disposal under current legislation.
Live lighter.
What You Can Do For the Environment
Want to be environmentally conscious and reduce your footprint on the earth? Start small. Think big.
Because when we all do a little, it can add up to a lot.

• What can you recycle? Plenty! Contact your local town hall to find out about recycling programs in your community. See a whole list.
• Do you drive to work? See if your city has a Park and Ride, or post a carpool note in your local community center.
• Want to calculate your impact on the environment? See your footprint at Earthlab.
• Brushing your teeth? Always turn off the water until you need to rinse. You’ll save water (and maybe even hear the phone ring).
• Have a green thumb? Whether you have an acre or a small piece of land, become one with the environment by planting your own tree. Watch it flourish as the years go by.
• Running a quick errand or work near your home? Forgo your car, strap on a helmet and feel the breeze while riding a bike.

What You Can Do For You
• Get active. Head outside! Our country is filled with natural wonders. Find great ways to explore and enjoy the great outdoors.
• Take 15. We can get so caught up at work that lunch hour means unwrapping a sandwich at your keyboard. Even if it’s just for 15 minutes, get outside and breathe in the fresh air.
• Toss around a real ball. For one weekend, don’t get caught up in video games or "the big game" on TV. Instead, head to the backyard or Local Park and try playing a real sport with a friend or loved one. After the competition (and you) heat up, replenish with cold, refreshing water.
• Consider switching some of those sugary beverages out for refreshing, cold water. In fact, drinking water instead of three sweetened drinks a week could save a staggering 6,084 grams of sugar over a year. That amounts to over 24,000 calories, and in a child, about seven pounds of weight!

Swine Flu Travel Fears: What Vacationers Should Know
Like the airline industry wasn’t having enough problems before the swine flu fears set in.
First it was soaring fuel costs. Then a global travel downturn. Now worldwide fears over the H1N1 virus, né swine flu, have put pressure on the ailing airlines to improvise even as no health organization or government has formally announced travel restrictions or recommendations against flying, despite what Vice President Biden May think.
The Centers for Disease Control has issued a travel advisory for
But if you’ve got a trip planned for
One option being considered by many Mexican-bound vacationers is changing their trip to similar but swine-flu-free locales like
The problem? Also because of already low demand, some airlines are slashing their flights to the Caribbean and
